Where are you located and what currency are your products listed as?
We are a Canadian family, living in rural New Brunswick. We do our best to provide you with that friendly (yet salty, on occasion) East Coast hospitality and customer service you've heard about.
Our prices are all listed in Canadian Dollar. Orders will be processed in your home currency, and automatically converted to CAD. We do not control the currency rates, unfortunately.
Why doesn't my discount code work?
There might be a few reasons — first make sure the code is spelled correctly. Secondly, some codes have conditions for use; for example, discount codes don't work with any items that are in the SALE section. The code may have expired. Please reach out to us for assistance.
Why is my package taking soooo long to be delivered?
Many of our products are small and light enough to ship through Canada Post as "lettermail". The pro is that it's a pretty inexpensive method.
The cons are that: it's slow, packages are not traceable, and you get no shipping insurance. Once your package leaves our hands, unfortunately, we have no control over delivery times, or lost or damaged packages.
Our recommendation is to always have your treasures shipped as a parcel. Yes, it costs more, but it will also come with peace of mind knowing you can track it and have insurance. Ultimately, the choice is yours!
For your convenience and peace of mind, we do offer Flat Rate shipping for $16 to anywhere in Canada.
My items arrived damaged :(
We don't like it when your items arrive in a less than perfect condition! As your order is packed, it is thoroughly inspected to ensure it is just perfect for you.
If your item(s) arrive damaged, we will submit a claim with the shipper and try to get you a refund or send the same item again if you prefer (subject to availability). This process can take some time, so we appreciate your patience. The best way is to contact us at noveltyish@gmail.com with a photo of the damaged item as soon as possible after delivery. *This is not applicable for orders shipped as lettermail.*
Can I return or exchange my items?
If there are any issues with your items, let's chat! Get in touch ASAP.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on discounted/sale items, or items that were clearly marked and sold as "seconds".
